Since Dublin, we have travelled about 2000 nautical miles. We have been to Penzance, Ria de Muros, and we are now in Madeira. I have been loving swimming in many places. The trip from Penzance to Ria de Muros was 5 days and the trip from Ria de Muros to Madeira was 8 days.
We did not see much wildlife as we had hoped, but we did see 1 pod of whales, many pods of dolphins and some tuna fish. I am missing my family back home and my cat and my dog. But it is nice here too. Currently we are sailing across the south side of Madeira. We are going to a new anchorage. I hope there will be a lovely beach to go swimming at.
Have only just found your blog and have read from the beginning. I am using your Great-Grandma’s phone, and found it in her Whatsapp messages. Have added it to her home screen so she can access it easily….. and sent myself a copy. You are much in our thoughts and prayers.
