We left Carriacou after a week and enjoyed a small sail towards Clifton, Union Island. We picked up a mooring ball in the lagoon and spent a night. The town is small but lovely, found my favourite shop in the Caribbean, ‘Saltygirl’. We watched kite surfers enjoying the big winds and bought our pass for vising the Tobago Cays.
The snorkeling we had done so far was good, but Tobago Cays was on another level. We had our own island, called Jamesby. We had turtles swimming right by the boat, went to a beach braai and had fresh lobster.
